Welcome to Sudo Built Apps LLC ("sudoBuiltApps," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our iOS apps, digital products, professional services, and website. By using any of our offerings, you agree to these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading our apps, purchasing our digital products, engaging our services, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our stuff.

3. iOS Apps (Simple Series)

Our Simple Series apps—SimpleQR, SimpleFlicks, SimpleChores, SimplePassword, SimpleKanban, and SimpleSplit—are available on the Apple App Store.

License

• We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use our apps on your Apple devices
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute our apps
• Apps are licensed, not sold—you don't own the code

Warranties & Support

• Provided "as-is" — We make no warranties about functionality, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose
• No guaranteed support — We'll try to help if you reach out, but we don't promise 24/7 support
• Updates at our discretion — We'll improve apps when we can, but we don't guarantee specific features or timelines

Refunds

• All app purchases are processed by Apple
• Refund requests must be made through your Apple account (App Store → Account → Purchase History → Report a Problem)
• Apple's refund policy governs all transactions
• We have no control over Apple's refund decisions

4. Digital Products (Etsy)

We sell digital downloads—Notion templates, email templates, security kits, and other resources—on Etsy.

Nature of Digital Products

• All products are digital downloads delivered instantly via Etsy
• Products are licensed for your personal or business use (commercial use allowed unless stated otherwise)
• You may not resell, redistribute, or claim our templates as your own creation

Refunds & Support

• Digital downloads are non-refundable per Etsy's standard policy
• BUT — If something doesn't work or you have trouble accessing your purchase, contact us at support@sudobuiltapps.com and we'll make it right
• We'll help troubleshoot, provide alternate formats, or fix broken files
• Our goal is happy customers, not technicalities

Etsy Platform

• All transactions are governed by Etsy's Terms of Service
• Payment processing and delivery are handled by Etsy
• Disputes may be subject to Etsy's resolution process

5. Professional Services (Fiverr)

We offer security consulting, workflow automation, and custom services on Fiverr.

Service Delivery

• All services are governed by Fiverr's Terms of Service
• Scope, timeline, and deliverables are defined in each service package description
• Revisions are included as specified in the package (typically 1-3 revisions depending on tier)
• Rush orders may be available for an additional fee

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and requirements upfront
• Respond to clarification questions in a timely manner
• Review deliverables and request revisions within the agreed timeframe

Deliverable Ownership

• You receive a license to use the deliverables (scripts, configs, documentation) for your business
• We retain intellectual property rights to any frameworks, templates, or methodologies we created
• Custom work made specifically for you is yours to use; reusable components remain ours

6. Intellectual Property

All sudoBuiltApps products and services are our intellectual property:

• Apps, code, designs, branding, and content are owned by Sudo Built Apps LLC
• You get a license to use what you purchase, not ownership of the underlying IP
• Trademarks — "sudoBuiltApps" and app names are our trademarks
• Respect our work — Don't copy, clone, or rip off our products

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service
• We're not responsible for data loss (back up your stuff!)
• We're not liable for third-party platform issues (Apple, Etsy, Fiverr outages or policy changes)

Translation: If something goes wrong, we'll try to help, but we're not on the hook for major damages. Use our products and services at your own risk.

8. Privacy & Data Collection

As covered in our Privacy Policy:

• Our iOS apps collect zero data
• Our website has no tracking
• We don't sell or share your information
• Support emails are used only to respond to you

Privacy isn't a feature for us—it's the foundation.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our products or services for illegal activities
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack our apps
• Resell or redistribute our digital products as your own
• Harass, abuse, or spam our support team
• Violate third-party platform policies (Apple, Etsy, Fiverr)

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our products or services means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

• We may stop offering a product or service at any time (with notice when feasible)
• We may refuse service to anyone who violates these Terms
• You may stop using our stuff whenever you want (no hard feelings)

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sudo Built Apps LLC. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
