By accessing or using any product, service, website, or application operated by sudoBuiltApps LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to all of our products and services:

• Simpl Apps — our iOS app suite (SimplQR, SimplFlicks, SimplChores, SimplPassword, SimplKanban, SimplSplit)
• Everyday Identity Newsletter — our email newsletter on identity and access management

• AltDraft — altdraft.com, our NFL/NBA draft content site
• AI Agent Playbook — our digital product sold via Gumroad
• IAM Health Check — our consulting services

3. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use our apps and websites.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) to make purchases, subscribe to our newsletter, engage our services, or enter into any binding agreement with us.

4. Simpl Apps (iOS App Suite)

Included apps: SimplQR, SimplFlicks, SimplChores, SimplPassword, SimplKanban, SimplSplit

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps on Apple devices you own or control.

Pricing and Purchases

• SimplQR — Free
• SimplFlicks — Free with optional in-app purchases
• SimplChores, SimplPassword, SimplKanban, SimplSplit — Paid apps with one-time purchase pricing

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple per their policy at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store transactions.

Data Processing and Privacy

Our apps process data on your device. We do not operate backend servers that collect or store your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Updates and Availability

• We may release updates to fix bugs, add features, or address security issues
• We are not obligated to provide updates, maintenance, or support for any specific period
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; apps may be removed from the App Store at our discretion

5. Everyday Identity Newsletter

By subscribing, you consent to receive periodic email communications about identity and access management topics, industry news, and related content.

• Unsubscribe: Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.
• Your data: Managed through Kit (ConvertKit) per our Privacy Policy

Content Disclaimer: Blog content is informational and does not constitute professional advice specific to your environment.

• Licensing: All blog content is copyright © sudoBuiltApps LLC. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not reproduce full articles without written permission.
• Comments: You retain ownership of your comments but grant us a non-exclusive license to display them. We reserve the right to remove any comment.

7. AltDraft

Entertainment Disclaimer: All AltDraft content is for entertainment and informational purposes only. Our analysis represents opinions and hypothetical scenarios, not guaranteed predictions.

No Gambling Advice: AltDraft does NOT provide gambling advice, betting picks, or wagering recommendations. Nothing on AltDraft should encourage gambling or guide betting decisions.

• Licensing: All AltDraft content is copyright © sudoBuiltApps LLC. You may share links and brief excerpts with attribution. You may not reproduce full articles or data sets without written permission.

8. AI Agent Playbook (Digital Product)

The AI Agent Playbook is a digital product sold through Gumroad. Payment is processed by Gumroad/Stripe.

• Refund Policy: All sales are final once the product has been downloaded or the download link accessed. Contact us at jay@sudobuiltapps.com for technical issues.
• Usage Rights: You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your own personal or business use. You may NOT redistribute, resell, publish publicly, or create competing products from this content.
• Licensing: One license = one person. Contact us for multi-seat licensing.

9. IAM Health Check (Consulting Services)

Consulting engagements are governed by these Terms plus any specific Statement of Work (SOW) agreed upon between the parties.

• Scope: Services are limited to the scope defined in the SOW. Requests outside agreed scope may require a change order.
• Deliverables: Provided "as-is" upon delivery; implementation of recommendations is your responsibility.
• Confidentiality: We treat all client data as confidential and will not disclose it without consent, except as required by law. Client data is deleted or returned upon engagement completion.
• Payment: Payment terms are defined in the SOW. Overdue invoices may accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by New York law.

10. Crafted Music House

AI-Generated Content Disclosure: Music and artist profiles are created using artificial intelligence tools. Artist personas are fictional.

• Licensing: All Crafted Music House content is copyright © sudoBuiltApps LLC. You may listen to and share our music through authorized platforms. You may not download, redistribute, sample, remix, or use our music in your own projects without written permission.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property across our products are owned by sudoBuiltApps LLC. This includes:

• App source code, designs, and functionality
• Blog posts, articles, and newsletter content
• AltDraft analysis and data
• AI Agent Playbook content
• Crafted Music House music and artwork
• The names "sudoBuiltApps," "Simpl Apps," "Everyday Identity," "AltDraft," and "Crafted Music House"

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without written permission.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.

Specifically: AltDraft content is opinion and entertainment, not guaranteed predictions. Blog and newsletter content is informational, not professional advice. Consulting deliverables reflect our judgment but outcomes depend on implementation.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY NEW YORK LAW, sudoBuiltApps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (1) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (2) one hundred dollars ($100).

14. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Violate any law — federal, state, or local
• Reverse engineer our apps or extract source code
• Circumvent security measures or access controls
• Scrape content using automated tools without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Spam or harass other users
• Use our products for unlawful purposes, including fraud or illegal gambling
• Resell or commercially exploit our products outside the granted license
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our services

Violation may result in immediate termination of your access.

15. Privacy & Data Collection

As covered in our Privacy Policy:

• Our Simpl Apps collect zero data on your device
• Our websites do not use tracking pixels or invasive analytics
• We do not sell or share your information
• We comply with all applicable privacy laws

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to active newsletter subscribers. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at www.sudobuiltapps.com/terms.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any of our services at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using our services whenever you want.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

• Informal Resolution First: Before filing any claim, contact us at jay@sudobuiltapps.com and attempt to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.
• Jurisdiction: Any legal action must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Oswego County, New York.
• Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action or consolidated proceeding.
